Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an AP Specialist to join a dynamic team in the Houston area. You will process and manage a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy through 3-way matching and ERP-supported workflows.

The role combines remote work three weeks per month with in-office presence for the final week and trainings, offering a flexible hybrid schedule in Waller, TX. Relevant AP experience and proficiency with Excel are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of AP experience processing and entering invoices.
• Proficiency in handling both PO and Non PO invoices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process between 500 - 700 invoices per week from a shared email inbox, with some paper invoices.
• Upload invoices into scanning/document validation software to automate the AP process.
• Conduct a 3-way match for approximately 60% of invoices using automated systems.
• Manually update and enter data to resolve discrepancies related to inventory, PO numbers, totals, or items not received.
