Aston Carter is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to support full-cycle AP operations in a high-volume environment. The role focuses on accurate invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, and timely payments under supervision.

You will work in a hybrid Princeton, NJ setting, handling ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP and maintaining strict data integrity and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliation.
• High-volume AP environment experience preferred with 200+ invoices per week.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and PO matching (two-way/three-way).

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
• Enter invoices into AP system and ensure authorization requirements are met.
• Process and record vendor payments per schedules and controls.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing system entries to account balances.
• Analyze invoices to ensure correct accounts and cost centers.
• Monitor discounts and timely payments to optimize cash flow.
• Verify vendor information and maintain compliant vendor records.
• Resolve discrepancies with documentation and escalation as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data.
• Communicate issues to AP Supervisor.
• Support accounting team with related tasks and projects.
