Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a fully remote/hybrid role in the Princeton, NJ area. The position requires handling end-to-end AP processes, vendor master data in SAP, and month-end closing reports within a North America finance shared service environment.

You will process high-volume invoices, ensure proper approvals and coding, respond to vendor inquiries, and support controls and reporting while delivering accurate, timely payments and maintaining strong internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5+ years in full cycle accounts payable.
• General Ledger experience is required.
• 1099 experience is required.
• Experience with SAP ERP is required.
• Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Process a high-volume of AP transactions, validate, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies.
• Review invoices for approvals, coding, tax treatment, and compliance with policies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice and payment status.
• Prepare payment proposals and execute supplier payment runs per policy.
• Support month-end close activities including accruals and reporting.
• Analyze AP activity using aging reports and vendor reconciliations.
• Create and maintain vendor master data in SAP per policy.
• Validate supplier information including banking, tax docs, and terms.
• Perform due diligence for new vendor records and changes.
• Maintain segregation of duties over vendor creation and changes.
• Identify potential duplicate or fraudulent vendor records.
• Identify and resolve AP issues to reduce delays.
