Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in a hybrid role to enter a two-year training program focused on sales, product knowledge, and professional development. The position involves building strong customer relationships, cold calling for new business, and planning weekly territory activities to fuel growth.

The role requires travel within the assigned territory, adherence to BYOD policy, and signing an employment agreement.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel within assigned territory for meetings.
• BYOD policy acceptable device usage.
• Must sign Employment Agreement and/or revised exhibit prior to execution.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and opportunities.
• Effectively cold call on potential customers to grow a book of business with a focus on new opportunities.
• Plan weeks in advance to prioritize stops and territory growth.
• Demonstrate products to show value and quality; emphasize American-made products.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas by following proven programs and training.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in company systems and report cost-savings to customers.
