Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in a hybrid role to participate in a two-year training program designed to develop sales experience and product knowledge. The program aims to prepare you to become a sales representative by building a strong, customer-focused territory book.

You will learn through formal training, hands-on field work, and mentoring, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to move to and from customer and associate locations within assigned geographic area while maintaining insurance coverage minimums
• BYOD policy compliance for personal device usage
• Execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised exhibit(s) provided for review before signing

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate our products to potential customers and highlight value; ~80% of spend is on American-made products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following proven programs and processes learned in training workshops; goal to double sales in five years.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in our systems and report cost-savings to customers in the field.
