Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping System Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the central point of contact for employees and supervisors using timekeeping tools. You will bridge the system with HR and Payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll processing across stakeholders.

You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, support system enhancements, and maintain training materials while ensuring access controls and CBAs are respected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar.
• 2+ years of hands-on HR practices experience is preferred.
• Understanding of HR's role and its impact on business and employees.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping systems and payroll interdependencies.
• General knowledge of compliance rules (federal/state/local).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems, including system navigation and issue resolution.
• Conduct audits of timekeeping usage for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with HR and Payroll to stay updated on processes and disputes impacting timekeeping.
• Update and distribute training materials for evolving systems and compliance.
• Ensure timely access provisioning for new users and role transitions.
