Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping Specialist (HRIS) to serve as the SME for our timekeeping systems. You will be the central point of contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it, bridging the system, users, and HR/Payroll.

You will coordinate across stakeholders, maintain system integrity, and support timely payroll processing, troubleshooting issues, guiding users, and enabling system enhancements while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 1 year+ experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years HR practices and policies experience.
• Understand HR's role in the business and daily activities.
• Know how to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interrelations.
• Knowledge of compliance rules (US, PR, Canada).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Audit timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaboration with HR and Payroll stakeholders on processes.
• Update training materials to reflect system changes and regulations.
• Ensure timely access and training for new or transferring users.
• Complete proxy set-ups to prevent interruptions.
