Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Timekeeping SME to serve as the expert for our timekeeping system(s). You will be the central contact for employees and supervisors, coordinating with HR and Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing and system integrity.

You will audit timekeeping practices, provide user training, and drive improvements while maintaining compliance with federal, state, local regulations and CBAs. This role requires collaboration across stakeholders and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, computer systems, or similar discipline.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Ability to understand HR's role in business operations.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and Payroll inter-relationship.
• Knowledge of compliance rules (US/PR/Canada).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.
• Proven MS Office proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct audits of timekeeping to ensure policy compliance and CBAs.
• Maintain collaboration with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials to reflect changes and compliance.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role transitions.
• Set up proxies to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Respond to user inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Escalate complex issues to stakeholders or vendors.
