Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Timekeeping SME to serve as the expert for timekeeping systems, acting as the central contact for employees and supervisors.

You will bridge between the system, users, HR, and Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing, system integrity, and timely issue resolution. You will audit usage for policy compliance, maintain training materials, and ensure new users receive proper access and training.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Resources, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more in experience with time keeping systems is a plus.
• 2 years or more in two to three years of hands-on experience in Human Resources practices and policies.
• Must understand HR’s role in influencing daily business activities.
• Must know how to train and how to influence and persuade the system's day-to-day users.
• Knowledge of the inter-relationship between the timekeeping system(s) and Payroll Services.
• General knowledge of compliance rules and regulations (Ryder, federal, state, local).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.
• Proven knowledge of MS Office Suite with emphasis on Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and Access

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive end-user support for timekeeping system navigation and payroll disputes.
• Audit timekeeping for policy compliance and data integrity.
• Coordinate with HR and Payroll to stay aligned on processes and updates.
• Maintain and update training materials for system changes.
• Ensure new users have timely access and appropriate training.
• Complete proxy setups to ensure continuity during absences.
