Job summary

Ryder seeks a Timekeeping System SME to serve as the central point for employees and supervisors, ensuring accurate time entry and smooth payroll processing. You will collaborate with HR and Payroll, resolve issues, and guide system enhancements.

The role requires strong communication, training ability, and expertise with Workday and ServiceNow, in a fast-paced environment. On-site in the U.S., with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar field.
• 1 year or more experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies, with understanding of HR's role in business.
• Ability to train and influence system users in day-to-day activities.
• Knowledge of how timekeeping relates to payroll services and compliance.
• Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.
• Proficient MS Office skills: Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access.
• General knowledge of federal/state/local compliance rules for timekeeping in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for timekeeping systems, acting as central contact for employees and supervisors.
• Coordinate with HR and Payroll; ensure system integrity and timely payroll processing.
• Provide proactive support on system navigation, disputes, and absence management tracking.
• Conduct regular audits for policy compliance and data integrity in timekeeping.
• Maintain training materials and ensure timely access for new users and role changes.
• Set up proxies to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Escalate complex issues to stakeholders or vendors for resolution.
• Monitor reports to identify discrepancies and data issues.
