Job summary

Ryder is seeking a timekeeping SME to serve as the central contact for employees and supervisors, ensuring system integrity and accurate payroll processing. You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, and coordinate with HR and Payroll on improvements and compliance.

The role requires strong communication, training ability, and knowledge of Workday/ServiceNow with a focus on timekeeping and payroll interfaces.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in HR, Business, Computer Systems, or similar (Required).
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems (Preferred).
• 2+ years HR practices/policies experience (Required).
• Understand HR role and its business impact (Required).
• Know training and how to influence system users (Required).
• Knowledge of timekeeping–Payroll interrelation (Intermediate).
• General compliance knowledge (Federal/State/Local) relevant to US timekeeping (Intermediate).
• Workday and ServiceNow knowledge (Preferred).
• MS Office suite proficiency (Advanced).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct audits to ensure policy/compliance alignment.
• Maintain relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials for system changes.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes.
• Set up proxies to avoid service disruption during absences.
