Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an HR Technology Architect to act as a strategic techno-functional partner across Human Resources, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions with strong Workday expertise.

You will collaborate with HR, IT, security and data teams to design architectures, guide integrations, and align end-to-end HR processes across Talent Acquisition, Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits and the employee lifecycle; healthcare experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a degree or 10+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Strong Workday experience with understanding of capabilities, integrations, data, security, and downstream systems within HR tech ecosystem.
• Experience operating in a techno-functional capacity translating HR challenges into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, HR Technology, IT and enterprise stakeholders to architect solutions across the employee lifecycle.
• Guide solution design, integrations, technology decisions and architecture standards.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable and aligned with enterprise architecture, especially in healthcare settings.
