Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA seeks an HR Technology Architect to translate HR business needs into scalable technology. You will partner with HR, IT and enterprise stakeholders to design and deliver end-to-end HR solutions, with deep Workday knowledge across data, security, and integrations.

Healthcare experience is highly valued; 8+ years of relevant work is required, with or without a degree, and a techno-functional mindset to drive architecture across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, CS, HR, Business Admin or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with degree or 10+ years without a degree.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering HR technology solutions across end-to-end HR processes.
• Strong Workday experience with understanding of integrations, security, and downstream systems.
• Experience operating in a techno-functional capacity translating HR challenges into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, HR Technology, IT and other enterprise stakeholders to evaluate processes and architect solutions.
• Translate HR business needs into scalable technology solutions across the employee lifecycle.
• Guide solution design, integrations, and architecture standards while ensuring scalability and sustainability.
• Deliver HR technology architecture across multiple systems in healthcare environments when possible.
