Job summary

Children's of Alabama is seeking a Human Resources recruiter for the Main Campus Lee Building in Birmingham, AL. This full-time day shift role involves interviewing, testing, and referring clerical, technical, clinical, administrative, and management applicants for departments across the hospital.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field and at least 2 years of HR Employment experience, with strong written and oral communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts recruitment for various departments. Interview and screen applicants; review applications; evaluate candidates and make recommendations to hiring manager.
• Assist in designing and delivering a process for efficient recruitment and selection.
• Develops and maintains relationships with employment agencies, universities and other sources to assist with recruiting.
• Identify alternative recruitment methods such as online recruitment, professional organizations, and universities to target technically skilled individuals with certifications.
• Represent Children's of Alabama at job fairs and other functions.
• Communicate effectively regarding benefits, recruitment process, policies, and HR procedures.
• Maintain HRIS databases and filing systems; prepare reports and analytics.
• Provide reports on positions filled, time to fill, and other metrics.
