Ventas, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support core HR programs, employee lifecycle processes, onboarding and offboarding, and compliance.

The role serves as a resource for employees and managers and coordinates HR records in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of HR experience, HRIS familiarity (Workday preferred), and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of professional Human Resources experience required.
• Must be located in the Chicago, IL surrounding area, or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
• Willingness to adapt to a blended in-office/remote work environment with three days in the office.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach when working with employees, managers and third parties.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Process employee information and lifecycle changes in the HRIS, including new hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes and terminations.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientation, files, checklists and termination tasks.
• Manage Form I-9 compliance and respond to employment verification and other third-party requests accurately and within required timeframes.
• Serve as a representative of the HR department and point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely guidance on HR programs, pay, benefits, training and other resources.
• Maintain electronic HR files and support retention and destruction practices in accordance with company requirements.
• Support administration of performance management and other HR programs, including communications, tracking and follow-up.
• Compile data from the HRIS, conduct research and analyses, prepare ad hoc reports and create clear process documentation and communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support department projects, meetings and events.
