Bain & Co. in Chicago seeks a Coordinator, Human Resources to provide primary support for designated employee cohorts and deliver HR and administrative assistance across the employee lifecycle.

You will guide employees on policies, timelines, and next steps while coordinating key processes for performance, compensation, onboarding, and offboarding. This hybrid role requires 2–3 years of experience and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support for first-year Associate Consultants and select populations of functional professionals.
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned cohorts, guiding employees on policies and timelines.
• Coordinate performance management activities, including first cycle review and logistics.
• Support compensation and tenure processes, including data reviews and bonus calculations.
• Manage departure and transition processes, including exit interviews.
• Maintain HR data in Workday and other systems; run reports and audits.
• Coordinate onboarding pre-start communications and logistics for Chicago employees.
• Assist with I-9 records management and E-Verify for new hires.
• Execute HR program agreements and memos; entries in Workday.
• Offboarding processes including documentation and coordination.
• Monitor Chicago HR inbox and escalate as needed.
• Oversee welcome gifts and anniversary awards with People Analytics support.
• Assist with HR data and local reporting requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely HR execution.
• Support process improvement and special projects.
