Job summary

Ventas, Inc. is seeking an HR Coordinator in the Chicago area to support core human resources programs, onboarding and offboarding, employee records, and compliance. You will partner with managers to ensure timely guidance, accurate data, and a high level of service.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of HR experience. HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and strong communication are essential, with a blended work model of three days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of professional HR experience.
• Must be located in the Chicago area or willing to relocate.
• Experience with HRIS platforms; Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process employee information and lifecycle changes in the HRIS, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and training follow-up.
• Maintain electronic HR records and support document retention/destruction.
• Support performance management, training, and other HR programs with communications and tracking.
• Prepare adhoc reports and develop clear process documentation.
