Job summary

Bain & Company seeks a Coordinator, Human Resources in Chicago to be the primary contact for assigned employee cohorts and provide HR and administrative support across consulting and business functions. Strong service orientation, detail focus, and clear written and verbal communication are essential to thrive in this role.

You will work with HR Operations, Benefits, Immigration, and local operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, data integrity, and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in a professional services or fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned cohorts, providing guidance on policies and timelines.
• Coordinate with Program Management and supervisor on performance management logistics.
• Support compensation and tenure processes including data reviews, bonus calculations, and inquiries.
• Execute departure and transition processes including exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate employee data in Workday and other systems; run reports for audits.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and Day 1 introductions for Chicago employees.
• Assist with I-9 records management and visa/immigration updates as needed.
