Concord Hospitality in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support all hotel operations alongside the General Manager, focusing on guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales, and revenue generation.

You will implement property-wide strategies, brand standards, and initiatives to exceed guest expectations, lead with integrity, and foster a Great Place to Work culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hospitality management experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Proven track record in guest satisfaction and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all brand standards are being maintained in each area of the property.
• Oversees the operation of all hotel property departments.
• Maintains current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state, and federal agencies.
• Provides a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS.
• Ensures compliance with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Covers front desk shifts as needed; ensures inventory and supplies are maintained.
• Assists and approves department managers’ scheduling against guest and hours/occupied room goals.
• Assists team supervisors and managers with coaching and counseling.
• Focused on guest satisfaction scores and strategies for improvement.
• Provides excellent customer service by being readily available for all guests.
• Assists managers in proactive hiring and ensures appropriate staffing levels.
