Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Ohio is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate machinery used in MSW and recycling activities. You will perform earth-moving tasks, site preparation, and load operations while adhering to safety standards.

This role requires at least 3 years of heavy equipment experience, ability to pass tests for each machine, and reliable teamwork. Expect a physical daily routine, shifts potentially nights/weekends, and opportunities for growth with a family-owned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience operating heavy equipment.
• Must pass written and operational tests for each equipment.
• Hazardous waste training within six months.
• Must be able to read and speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers, graders, excavators, and more safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain equipment through routine servicing.
• Interact with customers professionally.
• Work on-site roll-off and yard tractor tasks.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
