Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be proficient on heavy equipment.
• Ability to complete training on landfill equipment as needed.
• Must be dependable and able to perform daily operational tasks.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely (bulldozers, graders, excavators, backhoes, loaders, dump trucks).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document results.
• Perform routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
• Handle site prep, earth moving, landscaping, snow removal as assigned.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and downtime; stay aware of surroundings.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Perform on-site roll-off work and move trailers; operate yard tractor on site.
• Manage hazardous waste in a safe manner as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
