The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute seeks a Manager of Scheduling to lead ambulatory scheduling operations, ensure accurate patient scheduling, and drive service improvements across the department.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with hospital scheduling workflows, and a focus on QA data, reporting, and regulatory compliance to support optimal patient access and reimbursement outcomes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare field or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8-12 years of health care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated successful leadership, supervisory and management skills.
• Computer experience required and proficiency with applications and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of staff in Patient Access for The James.
• Monitor and ensure scheduling accuracy and process efficacy through reports and QA data.
• Coordinate and analyze processes, and develop reporting mechanisms.
• Assist with budgets, new programs, and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and regulatory agencies.
• Serve in place of the Assistant Director when unavailable.
