Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Patient Access for The James campus. The role leads and coaches staff, ensuring accurate scheduling and efficient processes to serve both customers and physicians.

You will coordinate QA data, develop reports, and help drive budgeting and program initiatives. Strong leadership, excellent communication, and proficiency with healthcare systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or healthcare or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8–12 years of health care experience preferred. Leadership and supervision experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate the Patient Access staff for The James.
• Ensure scheduling accuracy and efficacy of processes through QA data and reports.
• Develop reporting mechanisms and measure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budgets and program implementation; ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO and others).
• Serve in place of the Assistant Director when unavailable for customers, departments, and staff.
