The Ohio State University Medical Center seeks a Manager of Patient Access for The James Cancer Hospital. The role leads staff, manages scheduling accuracy, and aligns processes with budgets and regulatory standards to improve access for patients and physicians.

You will collaborate across departments, analyze QA data, and drive improvements in customer satisfaction while ensuring adherence to JCAHO standards and related requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare field, or equivalent combination.
• 5 years of relevant experience required.
• 8-12 years of health care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated successful leadership, supervisory and management skills.
• Computer experience required; knowledge of applications and systems.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Sense of professionalism; ability to win confidence at various levels.

Responsabilidades

• Manage, guide, coaching and evaluate the staff in Patient Access for The James.
• Collaborate with customers and other departments to improve access and service.
• Monitor scheduling accuracy and process efficacy through reports and QA data.
• Develop reporting mechanisms and measure customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budgets, implementation of new programs, and ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO).
• Serve in place of the Assistant Director when unavailable for customers, other departments, and staff.
