Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Manager in Registration (The James) to lead the Patient Access team, oversee scheduling accuracy, and drive process improvements. You will coordinate QA data, monitor performance, and support budgets and new programs while ensuring compliance with JCAHO and other regulators.

Reporting to the Director, you will mentor staff, collaborate with clinicians and other departments, and manage projects related to the James cancer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare field preferred.
5 years of relevant experience required.
8-12 years of health care experience preferred.
Demonstrated successful leadership, supervisory and management skills.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage, guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of the Patient Access staff at The James.
Monitor scheduling accuracy and process efficacy through reports and QA data.
Develop budgets, implement new programs and ensure regulatory compliance (JCAHO and others).
Serve in place of the Assistant Director when unavailable for customers, other departments, and staff.
