Job summary

Responsibilities include budget assistance, program development, and ensuring compliance with JCAHO standards while collaborating across departments and acting as the Assistant Director when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or healthcare or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience required; 8–12 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory and management skills.
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of applications and systems; ability to work with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and evaluate staff in Patient Access for The James.
• Ensure accuracy of scheduling and efficacy of processes through reports and QA data.
• Develop reporting mechanisms and measure customer satisfaction.
• Lead projects related to the product line and budgets; implement new programs.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory agencies; serve as Acting Director when needed.
