You will handle calls, notifications of delays, and billing tasks while coordinating with clinical staff to support timely care and accurate scheduling. Strong English communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Ability to organize and multitask effectively in a hospital office.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology and EHR/PM systems preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment.

• Greet visitors and direct them professionally.
• Manage patient flow during registration and ensure great service.
• Answer calls promptly and route messages appropriately.
• Inform patients about delays and assist with comfort.
• Process self-pay, reconcile payments, and provide receipts.
• Scan insurance cards, verify benefits, and update accounts.
• Schedule appointments and manage eligibility checks.
• Coordinate pre-authorizations and referrals as required.
• Escalate issues to supervisor promptly.
