Job summary

United Health Centers in Selma, California, is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to direct and coordinate Front Office and Back Office operations under the Health Center Manager.

You will supervise staff, ensure customer service standards, manage schedules, patient flow, and respond to issues while adhering to UHC policies. A High School diploma is required; supervisory experience is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Strong computer and office software skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adherence to customer service standards and quality of work.
• Proactively manages provider appointment schedules and templates.
• Maintain patient flow and real-time check-in/registration efficiency.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with evaluations.
• Provide coaching and staff development with the Health Center Manager.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring for Front/Back Office roles.
• Plan assignments to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Communicate site audit readiness to Health Center Manager.
• Maintain communications with Health Center Manager on operational issues.
