Job summary

United Health Centers in California is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to direct, supervise, and coordinate staff and day-to-day operations at the health center, ensuring outstanding customer service and efficient care.

Under the Health Center Manager, you will manage front and back office operations, monitor scheduling, patient flow, and staff performance in alignment with UHC policies. Bilingual preferred but not required; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be applied for this position.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) but not required; strong customer-service orientation and leadership能力

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff adherence to customer service standards and quality of work.
• Proactively manages provider appointment schedules to ensure templates are correctly applied and appointments scheduled appropriately.
• Maintaining patient flow in clinic to support agency productivity standards and goals.
• Manage patient flow in real time to ensure patients are checked in and registered in a timely manner.
• Work with Health Center Manager to monitor and evaluate staff performance and assist with evaluations.
• Provide coaching, training, counseling and staff development with Health Center Manager.
• Participate in interview processes for Front Office and Back Office positions.
• Plan and evaluate assignments to ensure adequate coverage for quality care.
• Communicate operational issues and improvement suggestions to Health Center Manager.
• Ensure data entry corrections/completion is resolved timely.
• Monitor cash/copay collections and daily deposits.
• Provide coverage in health center positions as necessary.
• Interface with other departments for operational effectiveness.
