Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Health Center Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across Front Office and Back Office, under the Health Center Manager. The role involves coordinating staff, optimizing patient flow, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care.

You will supervise staff, participate in interviews, coach employees, and monitor performance. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and bilingual communication when needed are desired traits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and coordinate front office and back office operations.
• Proactively manages staff and schedules to meet productivity standards.
• Monitor patient flow and ensure timely check-in and registrations.
• Provide coaching, training and staff development under Health Center Manager.
• Participate in interviews and hiring for Front/Back Office roles.
• Communicate operational updates to Health Center Manager; support audits and inspections.
