Job summary

Concurrent Real-Time, part of HBK's Virtual Test Division, seeks a hands-on Manager to lead the Simulation Workbench (SimWB) team. You will set direction, own delivery, and contribute as an engineer, while shaping product direction for SimWB in collaboration with the Principal Engineer.

You will work with Applications Engineering, Support, and Manufacturing to ensure timely, complete system deliveries and roadmap alignment, including exploring AI integrations and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading or managing an engineering team.
• Experience in Linux environments and hands-on coding in C/C++.
• Experience owning product direction, roadmap, or architecture.
• Experience delivering software releases and working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SimWB engineering team, set priorities, track status, and remove obstacles.
• Stay hands-on, contribute to design and code alongside the team.
• Own on-time shipment of SimWB systems with Manufacturing.
• Own the SimWB release process from planning to packaging and communication.
• Oversee SimWB licensing, including demo licenses and renewals.
• Coordinate with Support and Applications Engineering to resolve customer issues.
• Recruit and develop engineers to build deep team knowledge.
• Own the SimWB roadmap and translate customer needs into deliverables.
