Job summary

Highgate Hotels' Residence Inn Deptford is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing occupancy. You will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, follow cash handling policies, be familiar with rates and promotions, and maintain the front desk computer system.

Prior customer service and computer experience preferred; a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Regular attendance and reliability as per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest inquiries regarding restaurants, transportation, and entertainment.
• Handle check-ins/outs in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Follow cash handling and credit policies.
• Be familiar with rates, packages, and promotions.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system and related hotel software.
