Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies in Oxnard, CA is seeking a friendly Cashier/Checker to greet customers, process transactions accurately at the checkout, and provide exceptional service. You will work in a fast-paced, on-site environment and uphold store policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling cash and various tenders, assisting shoppers, and maintaining a clean, welcoming area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the checkout.
• Operate the POS system and handle tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, coupons) according to policy.
