Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons according to policy.
• Prevent loss by adhering to cash handling limits and company guidelines.
• Follow rules on restricted items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs) and report pricing discrepancies.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and respond to safety concerns.
