Kroger is hiring a Cashier/Checker to deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet customers, process transactions at the check lane, and handle various tender types while adhering to policies and safety guidelines.

Ensure accurate cashiering and assist in promoting a welcoming atmosphere across the store. Ideal candidates have basic math skills and prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is desirable.
• Ability to greet and assist customers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them at the checkout.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the check lane.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and other tender types.
• Follow store policies on restricted items and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming checkout area.
• Respond to customer questions about products and store promotions.
