Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers at the checkout
• Process transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, cards, SNAP EBT, WIC and coupons per policy
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines
• Ensure compliance with safety, age-restricted item rules, and store policies
• Report pricing discrepancies and maintain awareness of weekly ads
• Maintain clean and safe checkout area and assist with stock and signage
• Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests, including minors and seniors
