The Fairfield Inn - Sioux Falls Airport is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to welcome guests, handle check-in/check-out, and manage front desk operations with a focus on service and accuracy. You will book reservations, verify guest information, process payments, and assist guests with local attractions and hotel amenities while promoting the brand loyalty program.

A team-oriented, customer-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of front desk operations and procedures, guest services and hotel services.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
• Cash handling and use of computerized cash registers.
• Comfortable conversing with diverse backgrounds and levels.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out in a personable manner.
• Book reservations and register guests, verifying information and payments.
• Answer calls and route messages with accuracy.
• Promote the brand loyalty program and benefits.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Assist with resolving guest complaints and escalate when needed.
• Manage cash drawer contents and transactions during shifts.
• Maintain records including registration cards and reservation files.
• Handle mail and electronic communications; provide local information.
• Ensure lobby and front desk area is clean and welcoming.
