Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive service during check-in, stay, and checkout, while maximizing occupancy and guest satisfaction. The role emphasizes courtesy, efficient phone and front desk operations, and knowledge of promotions with a focus on hospitality excellence at a premium property.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, multitask, and maintain a warm demeanor, with experience in customer service and basic computer skills to support

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Light work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk per Highgate standards.
• Operate the PBX console and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare closing shift paperwork.
• Assist guests with check-ins/checkouts in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Maintain knowledge of rates, packages and promotions and in-house groups.
