Job summary

Highgate Hotels in New York City is seeking a Guest Service Agent to greet guests, manage check-ins and checkouts, and answer questions about services and local attractions. You will operate the Front Desk system, uphold hotel standards, and promote our promotions and packages to maximize occupancy.

The role requires excellent communication, a warm demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Some flexibility and long hours may be needed to support guest needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours.
• Handle check-ins and checkouts efficiently and courteously.
• Be familiar with hotel promotions, rates, and packages.
• Maintain a log of guest interactions and ensure accurate message delivery.
