Job summary

Texas Western International in Arlington, TX is seeking a friendly and reliable hotel front desk agent to warmly greet guests, check them in/out, and handle payments with accuracy.

You will greet guests, answer calls, upsell room options, relay messages, coordinate transportation, and contribute to guest satisfaction by following procedures and maintaining a welcoming lobby environment.

Responsibilities

• Register guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates.
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
• Answers and routes calls; takes guest messages with accuracy.
• Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Offers and properly handles requests for wake-up calls.
• Records pertinent guest information in the pass on log.
• Replenishes continental breakfast and keeps the area clean.
• Ensures lobby and common areas are clean.
• Performs laundry functions as directed.
• Checks guests in and out; processes payments according to policies.
• Responds quickly to guest requests or complaints; follows up to ensure satisfaction.
• Completes daily paperwork including cashing out and cashier reports.
• Balances cash and posts charges; transmits messages via phone, computer, email, fax.
• Provides a professional image at all times and follows company policies.
