Job summary

Texas Hotel Management is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, and manage reservations with a focus on excellent service. You will verify guest details, process payments, and provide information on hotel services and local attractions.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with housekeeping and other departments. Prior front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
• 1–3 years experience as a Front Desk Agent or similar role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Verify guest information, reservations, and payment details.
• Process room reservations, cancellations, and walk-ins accurately.
• Provide information on facilities, services, room types, rates, and local attractions.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
• Manage cash, card, and other payments; maintain PMS records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, F&B and other departments.
• Promote hotel services and upsell where appropriate; hand over shifts smoothly.
