Job summary

Opensity is seeking a Hospitality Specialist in Boston to deliver concierge-level guest experiences, cover professional reception, greet visitors, manage badge issuance, answer calls, and maintain a welcoming front-of-house.

You will support conference services, prepare rooms, coordinate AV, catering, and meeting materials, assist with events and office services, and help keep kitchens and pantries stocked while delivering consistent, high-quality hospitality daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-year work experience, client service-oriented preferred.
• Good customer service skills, including tact in handling client concerns.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.
• Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Reception: deliver concierge-level experiences, greet visitors, issue badges, answer calls, maintain a welcoming reception area.
• Conference Services: prepare, inspect, and reset rooms, configure furniture, AV equipment, and materials.
• Hospitality & Workplace Services: maintain presentation standards, manage common spaces, assist with beverage and hospitality.
• Kitchen, Pantry & Inventory: restock, monitor inventory, store deliveries, manage supplies.
• Events & Hospitality Programs: support internal meetings and client events, coordinate catering and logistics.
• Production & Office Services: document production, printing, scanning, and mail/shipping coordination.
• Operational Support: cross-functional coverage, equipment, room reservations, and process compliance.
