Job summary

Plane Careers is hiring a GTM Engineer to build the outbound function from the ground up. You will own ICP definition, enriched lists, sequencing, sending infrastructure, and the post-meeting handoff to Sales.

Collaboration with Marketing and Engineering is essential, and you’ll influence messaging, offers, and product telemetry. You will work with Sales daily on reply quality, with Marketing on messaging strategy, and with Engineering on telemetry access.

Qualifications

• Experience running cold outbound that produced pipeline.
• Experience with Clay or an equivalent orchestration platform.
• Deliverability as infrastructure — domains, warmup, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
• Experience shipping with LLM providers (Anthropic/OpenAI).
• Ability to connect SQL, APIs, and webhooks to a CRM and sequencer.
• Ability to write for technical buyers and tailor messages.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound end to end and carry the number: qualified meetings and pipeline.
• Turn signals into trigger-based plays using intent data.
• Segment by deployment motion and buyer type (cloud, self-hosted, air-gapped).
• Own sender reputation across domains and inboxes; manage warmup and DKIM/DMARC.
• Build agents that perform account research at scale and wire LLMs into the stack.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering on telemetry and message.
