Job summary

Plane is seeking a GTM engineering hire to build outbound from the ground up, defining ICPs, enriched lists, sequences, and sending infrastructure. You will route replies to Sales with context, and collaborate with Marketing and Engineering on telemetry and messaging strategy.

The role focuses on turning signals into timely plays, managing sender reputation, and scaling account research using AI agents, with close interaction with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• You have run cold outbound that produced pipeline.
• You have built in Clay or an equivalent orchestration platform.
• You treat deliverability as infrastructure: domains, warmup, rotation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• You have shipped with LLM providers and integrated models.
• You can connect systems yourself via SQL, APIs, and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound end to end and carry the number: qualified meetings and pipeline from cold, repeatably, at a known cost per meeting.
• Turn Plane’s signals into trigger-based plays using data like GitHub activity, Docker pulls, self-hosted installs, community threads, funding, and hiring.
• Segment by deployment motion and firmographics for different buyer objections and security reviews.
• Own sender reputation across domains and inboxes, manage warmup, rotation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and isolation of cold infrastructure.
• Build agents and systems that perform account research at scale, wire LLM providers into the stack, and write custom tooling when needed.
• Collaborate daily with Sales on reply quality and handoff, with Marketing on message and offer, and with Engineering on telemetry triggers.
• Spend real time on maintenance: pruning dead records, chasing bounce rate changes, rebuilding lists after provider degradations, and killing ineffective sequences.
