Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain exterior spaces and support the maintenance team. Responsibilities include cleaning outdoor areas, assisting with make-readies, and maintaining landscaping tasks daily.

The role requires a strong work ethic, English communication, and the ability to work on-call with occasional extended hours. This position supports a community-focused property management team in Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property appearance meets Valiant standards for all areas.
• Assist the team with community functions.
• Pick up litter daily.
• Sweep and blow breezeways.
• Clean areas around dumpsters.
• Clean vacant apartments.
• Maintain shared spaces like mail room, pool, laundry.
• Assist with pool maintenance.
• Water plants and sprinkler system as needed.
• Weed, reseed, and prune lawns and shrubs.
• Make drainage corrections.
• Replace breezeway light bulbs.
• Distribute notices and assist in make-readies.
