Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper responsible for daily maintenance and care of landscaping tools and equipment, and for keeping the exterior and common areas clean on a daily basis. The role includes assisting the maintenance team and supporting make-readies as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of related experience, good English communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks and work on call when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of all property areas to Valiant standards.
• Assist team with community functions and events.
• Pick up litter daily and sweep breezeways.
• Clean areas around dumpsters and vacant apartments.
• Assist with pool maintenance and irrigation tasks.
• Water plants and maintain sprinkler system.
• Mow, trim, reseed, and prune lawns and trees as needed.
• Distribute notices and assist in make-readies.
