Job summary

Valiant Residential in Texas is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior and common areas daily, assist the maintenance team, and help with make-readies. Responsibilities include landscaping upkeep, cleaning, and operating tools with safety in mind.

Requirements: at least one year of full-time related experience, English communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks.
• Knowledge of work safety habits.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of all property areas daily including offices, models, and amenity spaces.
• Assist the maintenance team and support community functions.
• Pick up litter, sweep and blow breezeways, and clean around dumpsters.
• Assist in make-readies and other maintenance tasks as directed.
• Water plants, maintain sprinkler system, and perform light landscaping duties.
• Replace light bulbs and manage basic groundskeeping tasks.
