Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior and common areas of our properties in Pflugerville, TX. You will support the maintenance team, assist in make-readies, and ensure landscaping and exterior cleanliness daily.

The role requires at least one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work on-call and weekends. English communication skills are essential; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appearance of all property areas (community office, models, apartments, amenities) meets Valiant Residential standards.
• Assist the team by supporting community functions.
• Pick up litter daily and sweep/blow breezeways.
• Clean areas around dumpsters and vacant apartments.
• Maintain pool areas, mail room, laundry room; assist pool maintenance.
• Water plants and maintain sprinkler system; use insecticides, fertilizers, and herbicides as needed.
• Mow, trim, reseed lawns; stake trees and prune shrubs; manage drainage.
