Job summary

Valiant Residential in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Porter/Groundskeeper to maintain exterior areas and assist the maintenance team. You will care for landscaping tools, assist with make-readies, and keep common spaces clean daily to meet Valiant’s standards.

The role requires at least one year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. Spanish bilingual ability is a plus. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to perform all required tasks and work on call, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance of property, common areas, model, and office to meet company standards.
• Assist team with community functions and make-readies.
• Litter pickup and sweeping/blowing breezeways daily.
• Clean around dumpsters, mail room, pool areas, laundry room, etc.
• Assist with pool maintenance, sprinkler system, watering and plant care.
• Mow, trim, reseed lawns and replant as needed; prune trees and shrubs.
• Repair lighting, drainage, and other maintenance tasks as directed.
• Distribute notices and support maintenance activities as assigned.
