Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The role focuses on preparing, cooking, and serving grilled items and coordinating with the Executive Chef on daily menus and special function menus.

Responsibilities include setting up and restocking the grill, producing daily items and specials, following recipes, maintaining sanitation and safety, and ensuring accurate production planning and waste control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Culinary knowledge and food safety certification.
• Strong customer service abilities.
• Ability to communicate issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Set up, restock, and break down of the grill.
• Daily production of meal items and daily menu specials.
• Prepare daily specials, hot sandwich production, and sides.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking and tasting meats, vegetables, and other grilled foods.
• Operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and trim food; report malfunctioning equipment.
• Taste food products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and maintain records.
• Control food production to manage waste and ensure proper disposal.
• Maintain temperature logs and cleanliness of grill station.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report to management.
